Pekutravel Tours and Travelers provides bespoke safari experiences that require detailed planning and advance payments to third-party providers. As such, all bookings are subject to strict non-refundable and non-transferable terms as outlined below.
1. All Sales Are Final
All safari bookings with Pekutravel Tours and Travelers are considered final and non-refundable once payment is made.
There will be no refunds issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Client cancellations
- No-shows
- Late arrivals or early departures
- Changes in personal circumstances (e.g., illness, missed flights, etc.)
2. Deposit & Payment Terms
- A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to confirm any booking unless paid in full online.
- The remaining 70% balance must be paid no later than 30 days prior to departure.
- Failure to pay the balance on time may result in automatic cancellation with no refund.
3. Date Changes and Modifications
- No date changes are allowed within 30 days of the scheduled trip.
- Changes made more than 30 days prior may be considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to availability and administrative fees (minimum $150 USD).
- Any approved changes are non-refundable if later cancelled.
4. Force Majeure
Pekutravel Tours and Travelers is not liable for cancellations or delays due to:
- Natural disasters
- War or terrorism
- Government regulations
- Airline disruptions
- Pandemics or health emergencies
No refunds or reimbursements will be made. We may, at our sole discretion, offer a credit voucher valid for 6 months—subject to rebooking fees.
5. Third-Party Costs
No refunds will be issued for costs incurred or paid to third-party providers (e.g., park entry fees, accommodation, or airline tickets), even in the event of cancellation.
6. Refund Requests
Refunds will only be processed in cases of double payment or proven payment errors, and such requests must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of the transaction. Processing time is 30 days, and bank/transaction fees are non-refundable.
7. Policy Acknowledgement
By making any payment to Pekutravel Tours and Travelers, you acknowledge that:
- You have read and understood this Refund and Returns Policy.
- You accept all terms and waive any right to dispute charges via your bank or card provider outside the conditions listed above.
